1. Selling Items on Consignment

Georgie’s Dress Agency operates as a consignment store. We sell your items in our physical shop and, where applicable, online. You will receive a percentage of the final selling price once the item sells. Items that do not sell can be collected or donated to charity. By submitting items for sale, you agree to these terms.

2. Commission Structure

Commission is taken from the final selling price as follows:

• All items – 50% seller / 50% Georgie’s Dress Agency (unless otherwise agreed).

3. Item Acceptance

We accept luxury designer and select high street fashion that is clean, pressed, and in excellent condition. We reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet our standards, is not in season, or is similar to stock already available.

4. Payment Terms

Commission will be paid in cash (unless otherwise agreed) items are kept on sale for 6-8 weeks.
Items not collected after date stated will be donated to charity.

5. Unsold Items

Items are typically kept in store for up to 8 weeks. Items not collected after date stated will be donated to charity.

6. Item Ownership

All items remain the property of the seller until sold. You may collect your items at any time prior to sale, but we ask that you contact us in advance so we can delist them from our system.

7. Item Authentication

We take authenticity seriously and check every item thoroughly. We do not accept counterfeit goods under any circumstances. Items may be authenticated using external services where required. We also offer authentication services for a fee.

8. Liability and Insurance

We will ask all sellers to sign an agreement that they understand and accept all of our terms and conditions. Items are not covered by our insurance.

9. Returns Policy

In-store purchases are final and non-refundable. Online purchases may be returned within 14 days if agreed. Please contact us to initiate a return. Items must be returned in the condition sold.

10. Delivery and Collection

We offer UK delivery for a flat rate. Click and collect is available free of charge. Buyers are responsible for any return postage costs. Items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.

11. Contact and Communication

We do not routinely notify sellers when items sell, except for high-value sales or by request. Sellers are encouraged to contact us directly for updates on their accounts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the latest version.
